Autumn is Here……

And you know what that means. Temperatures are starting to fall in the St. Louis area. Every year when fall begins I like to remind people of a few VERY important things. Number one…..have your furnace cleaned and checked before you turn it on for the season. Remember to change the filter as well. We use the big double heppa filter to cut down on allergens and dust. This is important because your furnace might have developed a leak and you don’t want to perish from carbon monoxide poisoning. It is also wise to have a Co detector installed. They are inexpensive and you can find one at any hardware store.
Every year people are perishing in house fires this time of year. A simple 5 dollar package of batteries can eliminate a lot of this needless death. CHANGE YOUR SMOKE DETECTOR BATTERIES!!!!!!
Every year you hear stories on the news of entire families perishing in house fires that could have been avoided. They had smoke detectors, but let the batteries go dead or had no batteries in them. Put fresh batteries in them now while I have your attention. Don’t become a statistic! If you need help with either of these, don’t hesitate to call Andy. We would love to serve you!
